PRIVATE MOMENT (2015)
Actors performed scenes from films shot in Central Park at their original locations, on a loop, for six hours a day. Films ranged from blockbuster to indie, from 40s to the early oughts, from the north of the park to the south. Performances were unmarked, so people either walked by, located the scenes with the help of a specially printed map, or stopped when they noticed something strange or familiar. Private Moment was commissioned by Creative Time.
