BYSTANDERS (2015)
Bystanders, an exhibition of new work at Toronto's Gallery TPW, includes a video (Mutabilitie), photographs (Vertebrae by Vertebrae), and a 45-minute monologue performed by a rotating cast of eight actors during gallery hours (Edition of Eight, excerpted above). The exhibition explored notions of authenticity and consciousness through AI, method acting, the occult, art history, sci-fi, and the actor's body itself.
